Revolutionary Benchmarking Breakthrough Tackles the Toughest Quantum Challenges

Predicting the behavior of many interacting quantum particles is a complicated process but is key to harness quantum computing for real-world applications. Researchers have developed a method for comparing quantum algorithms and identifying which quantum problems are the hardest to solve. Jake E. Lee Reflects on Luck and Resilience After Surviving a Shooting Incident

Jake E. Lee, former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, expresses gratitude after being shot

Jake E. Lee, who once played guitar for Ozzy Osbourne, has spoken out following his shooting in Las Vegas.

He shared details about his condition in a post on Facebook early Thursday.

“I’m truly grateful for all the support and kindness I’ve received. It makes this hard time a bit easier. To clarify, I was shot three times while returning home from walking my dog, Coco (I didn’t name him, so don’t blame me!). I prefer not to share all the details right now,” Lee explained. “I’m feeling tired but very lucky overall.”

Lee, an experienced musician known for his time with Osbourne and for founding the bands Badlands and Red Dragon Cartel, was shot multiple times on Tuesday morning while walking his dog in Las Vegas.

He added, “The police found 15 shell casings, indicating he emptied his clip at me. I managed to dodge some, but one bullet struck my forearm, one hit my foot, and another went through my back, breaking a rib and injuring a lung.”

According to a statement from Lee’s management, the incident is currently being investigated, and police believe that the shooting was entirely random, occurring while Lee was out walking his dog in the early hours of the morning.

In his Facebook update on Wednesday, Lee mentioned that the priority for his recovery is to drain fluid from his lung until it stops causing complications, after which the focus will shift to treating his less severe injuries.

Ozzy Osbourne remarked to TMZ that although he hasn’t seen Lee in 37 years, hearing about the incident was shocking. He described it as “another senseless act of gun violence” and expressed his support for Lee and his daughter, Jade, wishing for Lee’s speedy recovery.

Las Vegas police reported responding to a shooting in the 11000 block of Alora Street and found a male victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital, but no arrests have been made so far.

Authorities stated that their investigation is ongoing, and noted that they will not be providing further comments. Lee’s family has requested privacy during this challenging time, according to his management.
