Jayden Daniels’ Hail Mary Touchdown Saves Commanders, Shocks Bears at the End

LANDOVER, Md. – This Hail Mary was indeed caught.

In a thrilling finish, Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels avoided the rushing defenders of the Chicago Bears as the game clock hit zero, launching a pass that soared roughly 65 yards downfield.

The ball, deflected by a Bears player, landed in the hands of Commanders receiver Noah Brown, who was standing unguarded in the end zone.

The game ended with the Commanders winning 18-15 against the Bears.

This incredible play was officially recorded as a 52-yard throw from Daniels to Brown, igniting cheers from the Commanders’ coaches and fans as they improved to a 6-2 record, maintaining their top spot in the NFC East.

Prior to the last-minute touchdown, the Commanders struggled to score, managing just four field goals throughout the game. The Bears had just taken their first lead with a 1-yard touchdown run by Roschon Johnson with 25 seconds left.

That brief moment proved too long for the Commanders to be left with.
