Jelly Roll Inks Prince Harry’s Very First Tattoo

Jelly Roll gives Prince Harry his ‘first tattoo’

In an entertaining partnership, Prince Harry and Jelly Roll are marking their latest collaboration with a tattoo.

The British prince and the country music artist joined forces for a playful advertisement for the upcoming 2025 Invictus Games. Shared on Instagram Tuesday, the video shows Prince Harry visiting Jelly Roll at a tattoo studio to invite him to perform at the event’s closing ceremony.

To Harry’s surprise, Jelly Roll announces that he will be giving the Duke his “first tattoo” to celebrate the games. “This is the coolest thing ever!” Jelly Roll exclaims.

“Actually, I’m here to ask you to perform at the Invictus Games, not to get a tattoo,” Prince Harry responds. Jelly Roll insists, saying, “I’ll perform at the Invictus Games; just let me give you your first tattoo.”

Despite his initial hesitation, Prince Harry agrees to the tattoo swap. He suggests getting the tattoo on his lower back or buttocks, but Jelly Roll insists it should be on his neck. “This is for the world,” the singer says.

Jelly Roll added a personal flair to Harry’s tattoo design. It featured the Invictus Games’ “I am” logo along with Jelly Roll’s signature at the bottom, which read “I am Jelly Roll.”

“You signed my neck?” asks Prince Harry while looking at his new tattoo just before Jelly Roll leaves. “I’ll see you in Vancouver!”

The 2025 Invictus Games are set to happen in Vancouver from February 8-16.

Having served in the British Armed Forces for a decade, Prince Harry created The Invictus Games in London to honor servicemen and women who have been wounded, injured, or become ill while serving. Participants from over 20 countries are expected to attend.
