Jennifer Lawrence is expecting another baby with Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence is set to become a mother for the second time!

The acclaimed “Hunger Games” actress, 34, is looking forward to her second child with husband Cooke Maroney. A spokesperson for Lawrence has verified the news to Vogue.

When YSL News reached out on Sunday, the actress’ representative directed them to the Vogue article for verification.

Lawrence and Maroney, an art dealer, tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed their first child, a son named Cy, in 2022. The actress announced the arrival of her son during an interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“I live next to you, and I see you with a brand new baby at home,” DeGeneres commented, noting her past residency in the same house. “I do hear you talking to him, and it’s adorable!”

In a 2021 interview with Vanity Fair, Lawrence mentioned her desire to shield her child’s privacy as much as she can.

“If I were at a dinner party and someone exclaimed, ‘Oh, you’re having a baby!’ I wouldn’t respond with, ‘Oh no, get away from me!’ ” she explained. “Yet, every instinct in me wants to safeguard their privacy throughout their lives. I don’t want anyone invading their space, and I think it begins with not involving them in my professional life.”

However, Lawrence has opened up about motherhood, sharing with Vogue that “the morning after I gave birth, it felt like my life had started anew,” adding, “I was completely enamored. I fell in love with every baby.”

The “Silver Linings Playbook” actress remarked in an Interview Magazine discussion with Cameron Diaz last year that her role as a mom helps her “filter” her film choices. Whenever considering a new project, she questions, “Is this worth the time away from my child?”

“Luckily, my husband is an amazing dad, so when I am working, I experience no more guilt than the usual daily parent guilt,” she shared.

She elaborated on this sentiment during a 2022 Variety interview with Viola Davis.

“I often feel terrible as a mom,” she remarked. “I deal with guilt every day. While playing with him, I constantly wonder, ‘Is this what he wants? Should we be outside? Is it too cold? What if he gets sick? Should we move indoors? Is this stimulating enough for his development?’ ”

Lawrence’s latest role was in “No Hard Feelings,” a bold comedy that earned her a Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a musical or comedy film.
