Jennifer Lopez is showcasing her “unstoppable” spirit while promoting her latest movie.

In recent weeks, the versatile star has been dazzling audiences with stunning outfits at premieres for her new film, directed by William Goldenberg, titled “Unstoppable.” The film has seen great reception in cities like Toronto, Los Angeles, and London. This sports drama, inspired by the true story of wrestler Anthony Robles, marks Lopez’s first film appearance after she filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August, who is also a producer of the project.

Lopez made a memorable entrance at the Toronto International Film Festival in September with a striking silver Tamara Ralph gown that featured daringly open sides tied together with velvet bows. This outfit made a bold statement as it was her first appearance in public since her divorce.

In “Unstoppable,” she portrays Judy Robles, a real-life mother who inspired her son Anthony to overcome challenges he faced due to having only one leg. Lopez, who has mentioned taking time for herself following a difficult period in her life, highlighted how rewarding it has been to participate in this film.

“This role allowed me to dive deeply into a beautiful character, and I truly enjoyed the process of disappearing into it. I desired for audiences to see Judy rather than me,” Lopez shared during a Q&A session at the film’s London screening, according to The London Standard.

She expressed her intention to portray Judy not only as a mother but also as a woman who derived her strength from personal struggles, ensuring her children thrived from her experiences instead of being burdened by her challenges.

As Halloween passed, Lopez embraced the spirit of the winter holiday season. Recently, she appeared at London’s Cineworld Leicester Square dressed in an all-white ensemble from Magda Butrym’s fall 2024 line.

The combination of a turtleneck top and a midi dress created a bundled-up appearance, balanced by a halter neck that left her shoulders bare.

The temperature in London was reported to be in the mid-40s to low 50s, raising questions about the necessity of an alpaca wool jacket.

During an event on October 26 in Los Angeles at the AFI Fest, Lopez chose a more relaxed outfit that had hints of Emily Blunt’s character from “Jungle Cruise.” She donned an oversized cream jacket paired with a low-cut long-sleeve top and a belted pink micro-miniskirt from No. 21’s resort 2025 collection, complemented with nude platform heels by Gucci.

The AFI Fest included a screening and discussion featuring the stars of “Unstoppable,” including Lopez, Jharrel Jerome, and the film’s real-life inspirations, Anthony and Judy Robles.

“Initially, I thought I was taking on a minor role in an important story about Anthony Robles. However, as I got to know him and his mother, I realized just how significant Judy’s character was,” Lopez reflected during the event.

Lopez mentioned that her conversation with Judy Robles, where Robles shared her “many deep feelings,” significantly aided Lopez in delivering an impressive performance as Judy.

Lopez has generally been praised for her role as Judy Robles. According to The Hollywood Reporter’s review, “Lopez immerses herself into the character with a nuanced performance,” while Variety described her portrayal as “the most complete screen performance she has ever given.”

On the other hand, a critic from Entertainment Weekly felt that Lopez “overacts in several scenes.”
