Jonathan Owens of the Bears Celebrates Key Play with Pose Inspired by His Wife Simone Biles
On Sunday, the Chicago Bears may have walked away with a loss, but safety Jonathan Owens certainly had a standout moment worthy of recognition.
Owens, who is married to Olympic champion Simone Biles, made a critical play in the first quarter against the Minnesota Vikings during Week 12 by forcing a fumble.
Even though Owens played exceptionally well, finishing the game with eight tackles, which was the fourth highest on the team, the Bears were ultimately defeated by the Vikings in overtime, 30-27.
The Bears are set to face off against the Detroit Lions for their Thanksgiving game in Week 13.
In other news, Simone Biles is set to join “The Voice” as a playoff advisor.
NBC has announced that Biles, the most decorated gymnast ever, will appear on the popular singing competition as an advisor for Team Snoop, having been recruited by Snoop Dogg himself.
