Justin Timberlake delays concert tour due to health issues: ‘I haven’t felt well’
Justin Timberlake has decided to postpone several concerts due to health concerns.
The 43-year-old star, known for his hit “Cry Me a River,” has affected a number of shows as part of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. Six concerts in Chicago; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Detroit; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; St. Paul, Minnesota; and Columbus, Ohio have been pushed back to dates between February 14 and February 27.
“Hello everyone — I haven’t felt great during the last few shows and I’ve found out that I have bronchitis and laryngitis. I truly apologize, but I need to postpone my next few shows from October 23 to November 2,” Timberlake shared in a social media post on Tuesday evening. “Thank you for your understanding — I promise I will make it up to you.”
All tickets that were previously purchased will still be valid. For those who bought tickets directly, refunds are available through the original point of purchase, and additional tickets are for sale via Ticketmaster.
This announcement follows Timberlake’s earlier postponement of a concert in Newark, New Jersey due to an injury. At that time, he expressed his disappointment, saying, “I’m really sorry to have to postpone tonight’s show. I have an injury that’s stopping me from performing. I’m incredibly eager to fix this and reschedule as soon as possible.” The revamped event took place on October 15.
In September, Timberlake admitted to driving while impaired after being arrested in the Hamptons for operating a vehicle under the influence.
Timberlake is the second major pop star in just four days to delay a significant concert at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum.
Pink, who was scheduled to perform at the Milwaukee Bucks arena on Wednesday, also postponed her concert along with three others, citing “reasons beyond my control,” as stated on her social media. New dates for the rescheduled concerts are yet to be announced.
“I’m deeply disappointed to share this news, but we’re working hard to reschedule all these shows as soon as we can,” Pink expressed. “Your tickets will still be honored.”
