‘Hope he’s alright’: Kamala Harris pokes fun at Donald Trump’s strange behavior during town hall

WASHINGTON – Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democratic leaders pointed out the peculiar conclusion of Donald Trump’s latest town hall meeting, reigniting concerns over his mental fitness.

“Hope he’s alright,” Harris remarked in a post on X, sharing an edited video showing Trump standing awkwardly and occasionally nodding his head to a playlist he requested after two medical incidences disrupted a town hall event near Philadelphia.

Trump’s aides claimed the audience in this key swing state enjoyed his performance and accused Harris and her party of attacking him out of fear for their electoral prospects.

“When times are this desperate, people resort to desperate tactics!” stated Trump aide Dan Scavino, Jr., in response to Harris on X.

Here are some key points:

‘Let’s skip the questions’

Multiple organizations observing Trump’s public events highlighted the unusual occurrence in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

“I’ve never witnessed anything like this just three weeks before an election,” posted Republicans Against Trump on X. “Trump is coming apart before our eyes. He’s bound to lose.”

Throughout the event, Trump stood uncomfortably amid a mix of songs including “Ave Maria,” “Hallelujah,” and “Nothing Compares 2 U.” He even danced to tunes like “Y.M.C.A.” by the Village People and “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown.

The rapid response team for Kamala Harris provided a contrasting opinion: “Trump looks lost, bewildered, and stuck onstage while several songs play for over 30 minutes and large portions of the crowd leave early.”

Trump’s aides noted that Democrats ignored the circumstances surrounding the music session.

The former president paused the town hall when an audience member collapsed due to heat. After the event resumed, a second audience member experienced a medical issue, prompting Trump to conclude the gathering and request music to lift spirits.

“Let’s skip any more questions, and just enjoy the music,” Trump stated. “Let’s turn this into a musical. Who really wants to answer questions anyway?”

‘Does anyone else want to faint?’

Along with the music, Trump lightheartedly joked with his sweating supporters in a hot, crowded venue lacking adequate air conditioning. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem was on stage with him.

Reassuring the crowd that the two audience members were going to be fine, Trump quipped: “Does anyone else want to faint?”

Earlier, Trump commented on the steamy atmosphere: “Honestly, I enjoy this – we lose a few pounds, you know? … We can do this and shed four or five pounds, and I’m good with that.”

‘The excitement was incredible’

“President Trump transformed his town hall into a concert last night and the excitement was incredible,” remarked national press secretary Karoline Leavitt on X. “He inspires people in a way that no other politician can.”

Trump seemed surprised that many supporters chose to stay for the music.

“No one is leaving,” he noted. “What’s happening?”
