Innovative Amorphous Nanosheets Crafted from Challenging Metal Oxides and Oxyhydroxides

A team has pioneered a new technique for synthesizing amorphous nanosheets by employing solid-state surfactants. These ultra-thin amorphous nanosheets can now be produced from various kinds of metal oxides and hydroxides. This innovation significantly broadens their applicability across various technologies such as the potential advancement of next-generation fuel cells. Researchers at Nagoya University in Japan

Kamala Harris to Make Final Case for 2024 Campaign at National Mall

Kamala Harris to present 2024 campaign ‘final statement’ at National Mall

Vice President Kamala Harris will present her “final statement” on why she deserves voter support in the 2024 election at the National Mall next Tuesday, as confirmed by a senior member of her campaign.

Harris, who previously worked as a prosecutor, aims to persuade the nation to move on from former President Donald Trump at the Ellipse—the same location where he gave an impassioned address nearly four years prior, which led to his supporters breaching the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The Vice President intends to use this significant site to urge voters to conclude Trump’s “time of chaos and division,” while discussing a new direction for the country, according to the campaign official.

Harris is dedicating considerable time to key battleground states. By returning to the site where her Republican opponent refused to acknowledge the results of the 2020 election, her concluding message aims to resonate with a wider audience.

In contrast to President Joe Biden, who has expressed that the return of his predecessor threatens democracy, Harris has mostly steered clear of such statements—until now.

However, in these final moments of the campaign, she has accused Trump of desiring “unchecked authority.” For instance, she highlighted comments made by former White House chief of staff John Kelly, who claimed that should Trump be reelected, he would govern as a dictator, recalling past flattering remarks about Adolf Hitler.

“This reveals the true character of Donald Trump from those who are most familiar with him, who have worked alongside him in the Oval Office and in the Situation Room,” Harris remarked.

In response, the Trump campaign has dismissed Kelly’s comments as “debunked stories” and accused him of embarrassing himself with his statements to the media.
