Since August 2, Resonate has been monitoring nearly 400,000 undecided voters across nine key states. Their analysis reveals which party these voters are likely to feel more confident in regarding issues such as the economy, crime rates, immigration policies, foreign relations, and the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Current Trends Among Undecided Voters in Key States Regarding Immigration and the Economy

In the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election, immigration and economic concerns are at the forefront. Research from Resonate indicates that a significant number of undecided voters are currently leaning towards Republican views on both matters. However, recent weeks have seen a reduction in the divide between the two parties concerning employment and economic policies. More details on these changes will be provided later.

 

Resonate utilizes a unique methodology for polling that differs from standard practices.Resonate examines the opinions of American voters based on a pooled sample of several hundred or thousand participants. They utilize an AI-driven modeling system to gather insights about approximately 250 million individuals. Their extensive dataset consists of over 4 trillion data points, which help create comprehensive profiles that cover various aspects, from demographic and psychographic information to understanding the motivations behind people’s choices.

By using anonymized identities, Resonate has monitored 397,000 undecided voters in key battleground states since August and has assessed their online activities.

Recently, a report from Resonate revealed that undecided voters in Pennsylvania shifted significantly towards Democratic candidates regarding their trust in managing jobs and the economy. This change has reduced the Republicans’ previous advantage on these issues.

Among the nine identified states, the two located in the West exhibit the highest rates of undecided voters who do not favor either the Democratic or Republican parties, as indicated by Resonate. In Arizona, Republicans have seen a decline of 17 percentage points regarding foreign policy views, whereas Democrats experienced an 11 percentage point drop in Nevada.
