Kicking Off the 2024 NFL Season: Key Dates and Insights for Opening Week

When does the 2024 NFL regular season start? Details about the opening week.

The start of the 2024 NFL season is nearly here.

As teams finalize their rosters, they are gearing up for their first games of the season. All 32 teams will be competing for a chance to play in Super Bowl 59, scheduled to be held in New Orleans.

The Kansas City Chiefs, as the reigning champions for the last two years, are aiming to become the first team in the NFL’s modern history to win three titles in a row. Historically, no team has ever claimed three Super Bowl victories consecutively; the last to achieve a three-peat was the Green Bay Packers in 1965 – the year prior to the first Super Bowl, winning both Super Bowls I and II.
