College Football Season Kicks Off Soon!

Incredibly, the college football season is just around the corner!

The Michigan Wolverines are gearing up to defend their national championship, now led by new head coach Sherrone Moore after Jim Harbaugh left for a position in the NFL.

Despite being the current champions, Michigan does not hold the top spot in the US LBM Coaches Poll for the preseason. The Georgia Bulldogs, under coach Kirby Smart, have taken that title with 46 out of 55 first-place votes, placing Michigan at No. 8.

Additionally, there has been a significant shake-up in player rosters, with the transfer portal buzzing with activity. The Ohio State Buckeyes, ranked No. 2, are among those who have successfully attracted impactful newcomers for the upcoming season.

The inaugural game of the 2024 college football season is on Saturday, August 24, in Ireland, where ACC teams Florida State and Georgia Tech will compete in Dublin. The kickoff is at noon ET at Aviva Stadium and will be broadcast live on ESPN.
