The NHL has wrapped up its international kickoff, where the New Jersey Devils took a clean sweep against the Buffalo Sabres over two games in Prague, Czech Republic.

 

Now, the league is set to begin its North American season on Tuesday with a triple-header on ESPN.

The Seattle Kraken will kick off the night with a home match against the St. Louis Blues, having participated in last season’s opening as well.

Following that, the Florida Panthers will raise their Stanley Cup championship banner before taking on the Boston Bruins, the team they triumphed over in the playoffs for the last two years. The Panthers received their championship rings on Monday.

In the final game of the evening, the Utah Hockey Club will play in their inaugural match, hosting Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks.
