This year marks Barbie’s 65th anniversary, and Krispy Kreme is collaborating with the brand to introduce a special collection of doughnuts in honor of this milestone.

Starting Tuesday, customers can find four new doughnuts that boast “distinctive designs and delightful flavors inspired by Barbie” at select locations, available for a short period.

The series, named the Barbie x Krispy Kreme Collection, will come in a special edition custom box and includes:

• Barbie Pink Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut filled with pink buttercream, adorned with sparkly pink sugar, and topped with Barbie sunglasses.
• Malibu Dream Party Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with Cake Batter Kreme, covered in Malibu blue icing and sparkly graham sand, topped with a Barbie DreamHouse piece, and decorated with piped white clouds.
• Barbie Berries ‘n Kreme Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with Strawberry Kreme, coated in white icing, drizzled with purple and pink buttercream, and topped with a Barbie heart.
• Barbie Sweet 65th Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and sprinkled with Barbie Sweet 65th sprinkles.

“Both Barbie and Krispy Kreme evoke joy and fond memories,” stated Meredith Norrie, vice president of global licensing and consumer products for Mattel, in a press release. “Krispy Kreme is the ideal partner to engage fans from all ages, offering a delightful mix of flavor and style, with elements of Barbie in every bite.”

Partnership also includes exclusive Barbie Fashionista dolls

Besides the doughnuts, Krispy Kreme will be offering “special surprises for randomly selected fans,” which include a limited number of Barbie Fashionista dolls, as mentioned in their announcement.

The dolls will come with unique Krispy Kreme accessories, like a Krispy Kreme paper hat, and will also include a custom Barbie x Krispy Kreme adult-sized denim jacket.

Fans can enter for a chance to win these dolls and jackets through two different methods:

• From September 4 to September 6, any fan who comments and tags a friend on the Barbie x Krispy Kreme competition post on Krispy Kreme’s social media platforms – @krispykreme on Instagram – will be entered into a separate draw for a chance to win.
• From September 6 to September 8, Krispy Kreme Rewards members who buy a Barbie x Krispy Kreme dozen at participating stores and scan their Krispy Kreme Rewards app at checkout will automatically be entered into a giveaway for a chance to win. Promotion includes free doughnut giveaway

On Saturday, September 7, all customers who wear pink and visit a participating Krispy Kreme location can receive a free Original Glazed doughnut, limited to one per customer both in-store and via drive-thru, as per the doughnut chain’s announcement.
