Whirlwind Tour Comes After a Huge Year for Lainey Wilson

Having won her first Grammy for Best Country Album with “Bell Bottom Country” in 2023, Wilson is set to perform on February 2 in Los Angeles as a featured artist. Her 2024 album “Whirlwind” is also in the running for a second Grammy win this year.

The album “Whirlwind,” which was released in the summer of 2024, achieved remarkable first-week sales, debuting at #8 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. It features her current Top 5 single “4x4xU,” which is expected to become her eighth #1 hit.

Her busy 2024 included her induction into the Grand Ole Opry, co-hosting the 58th annual CMA Awards with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, and headlining the Thanksgiving halftime show for the Dallas Cowboys, as part of The Salvation Army’s 134th Red Kettle Campaign.

This success followed her recognition as the ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year in 2023, alongside seven No. 1 hits in country music, like “Watermelon Moonshine” and the double-platinum certified “Heart Like A Truck.” She has also collaborated with prominent country stars such as Cole Swindell on “Never Say Never,” Jelly Roll on “Save Me,” and HARDY on “Wait in the Truck,” all of which have received awards.

Additionally, Wilson made her acting debut in the fifth season of the popular TV series Yellowstone and recorded the song “Out of Oklahoma,” which has been shortlisted for an Academy Award, for the upcoming film “Twisters.”
