Lea Michele Welcomes Second Child with Zandy Reich: ‘Our Hearts Are So Full’

Lea Michele has become a mother for the second time!

The “Glee” actress shared the news of her second child’s birth with husband Zandy Reich on Instagram this Sunday. “Our hearts are so full,” Michele expressed, sharing the name of their new daughter.

The couple has named their second child, Emery Sol Reich. Michele, 37, posted a picture featuring herself, their 4-year-old son Ever, and her husband gently holding the newborn’s leg.

Emery’s arrival follows Michele’s pregnancy announcement on March 27, where she celebrated the exciting news by posting three photos showcasing her baby bump, writing, “Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed.”

In May, the Broadway star shared the gender of her second child through a heartwarming social media post.

“We had the most beautiful Mother’s Day, where I was holding my son who made me a mama while also carrying my daughter,” she captioned a photo of herself with flowers and cradling her belly.

In July, Michele appeared on Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt’s podcast “BDA Baby,” where she discussed experiencing multiple pregnancy losses in her journey to conceive baby No. 2.

She revealed she had “two consecutive very early unsuccessful pregnancies.” Michele shared that she had “never experienced a miscarriage before,” and explained: “After the first one, I thought, ‘That was strange.’ But when it happened again right away, I was like, ‘Hold on. Something is off.'”

Michele told Schwarzenegger that the experience was “incredibly difficult” and “extremely painful.” After her losses, she sought medical help and received a diagnosis of endometriosis.

Michele and her husband, Zandy Reich, a retail entrepreneur, started dating in July 2017, as reported by E News. Almost a year later, the couple got engaged in April 2018. Michele marked the occasion by posting a picture of her beautiful engagement ring on Instagram with the caption, “Yes 💍.”

The pair tied the knot in March 2019 in a private wedding ceremony held in Napa, California.
