Lily Collins has embraced motherhood!

The 35-year-old star of “Emily in Paris,” alongside her husband Charlie McDowell, revealed they have welcomed their first child through surrogacy in a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday. The couple shared an image of their little one dressed in a matching mauve cap and onesie, with a beautifully embroidered blanket displaying the name Tove.

“Welcome to the center of our world, Tove Jane McDowell,” the caption exclaimed. “Words will never capture our immense gratitude for our amazing surrogate and everyone who supported us along this journey. We love you to the moon and back…”

In September, the pair celebrated their third wedding anniversary, sharing sweet tributes to one another.

“Happy anniversary to the man who makes me laugh more than anyone else. These three years in your arms have been the greatest gift. Even when I’m barefaced in a simple tee, you make me feel like the most special person alive,” Collins shared in a post dated September 4.

“I adore you @charliemcdowell beyond words. Here’s to endless amazing memories together (and to future twinning photoshoots). And just think, the best is yet to come…”

After their engagement in 2020, Collins expressed how “over the moon” she felt about their upcoming union during an interview with YSL News.

“I keep describing it as this overwhelming sense of knowing that I’m right where I need to be, with the right person, feeling just the way I should feel,” she stated. “It’s that all-consuming, joyful feeling that takes over your entire being. My cheeks ached from smiling, and I am incredibly thankful.”

McDowell, a talented writer and director, is the child of actors Mary Steenburgen and Malcolm McDowell. Collins, who recently completed a 12-week performance in “Barcelona” at London’s West End, is the daughter of renowned Grammy-winning musician Phil Collins and Jill Collins, who is known for her unique shop featuring “resurrected oddities” located in West Hollywood.
