Revolutionizing Healthcare: The Future of Point-of-Care Testing with Innovative Bioluminescent Immunosensors

A novel nanobody-based immunosensor, designed to function stably in undiluted biological fluids and harsh conditions, has been developed. Their innovative design leverages BRET -- bioluminescence resonance energy transfer -- and exhibits great potential for point-of-care testing, therapeutic drug monitoring, and environmental applications using paper-based devices. Luis Suarez Eyes a Move to Inter Miami for 2025 Comeback

Luis Suarez of Uruguay in Negotiations to Rejoin Inter Miami in 2025

Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez, who has dealt with ongoing knee problems, played a key role in Inter Miami’s achievements this season and has revealed that discussions are underway for his return to the Major League Soccer team in 2025.

Suarez signed a $1.5 million deal for one year, joining his close friends and former Barcelona stars Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba at Inter Miami. He is open to the possibility of playing alongside them again next year.

“I’m aware my lawyer is in discussions with the club, but my focus is on finishing the season calmly,” Suarez mentioned during a press conference on Friday.

The 37-year-old expressed his intention to complete this season “in the best possible way” and demonstrate to the club that he “feels fit” and is “eager to continue being a part of the club’s legacy.”

While there’s a strong case for Suarez to be considered for the MLS MVP award this season, he is more likely to secure the MLS Newcomer of the Year title. He leads the team with a total of 22 goals across all competitions, including 18 during the MLS season.

The team has already claimed the MLS Supporters’ Shield and aims to break the league record for points in a season during Saturday’s final match against the New England Revolution.

Importantly, despite his knee troubles, Suarez has maintained his availability, only missing three matches with Inter Miami this season while being absent for five others due to Lago America commitments earlier this summer.

“Having top players like Luis is a huge advantage for us,” remarked Inter Miami coach Tata Martino regarding Suarez’s interest in renewing his contract. “If the opportunity arises, I believe it will be realized.”

Suarez, who is often referred to as “El Pistolero” and is known for celebrating his goals by mimicking a pistol with his hand, is the all-time leading scorer for Uruguay, having netted 69 goals in 143 appearances.

He scored an equalizing goal against Canada to send the match to penalties, contributing to Uruguay’s third-place finish in the Copa America on July 14. He announced his retirement from the national team in September.

In total, Suarez has scored 580 goals in his career with both club and country, placing him among the top 12 highest scorers in football history.
