Luke Combs and Eric Church Join Forces for Hurricane Helene Relief Concert in North Carolina
Luke Combs and various country music stars are using their music skills to gather funds for communities affected by Hurricane Helene, which caused significant destruction across the Southeast.
All funds raised from the “Concert for Carolina,” a benefit concert featuring performances by Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings, and James Taylor, will be donated to organizations involved in relief work throughout the Carolinas and Southeast, as stated in a press release from YSL News.
The funds raised will be evenly divided between the Chief Cares Foundation of Combs and Church, who will allocate the money to chosen organizations.
The concert, organized by Explore Asheville and Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, is set to take place at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Saturday, October 26.
“The Tar Heel State holds immense significance for all four artists, as it is where Combs, Church, and Taylor grew up and discovered their passion for music, while Strings has performed numerous times and has a special fondness for it,” stated the release.
Combs announced the concert on Instagram on Monday, mentioning in the caption that he had something major planned for Carolina.
“This concert required immense planning, effort, and coordination from many individuals,” Combs expressed on social media. “I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who made this happen on such short notice.”
