Margaritaville on land and sea: Cruise line introduces Bahamas resort access
Even after leaving the ship, guests aboard Margaritaville at Sea can still relish the Margaritaville experience.
Next year, the cruise line will unveil a new Sail and Splash experience, giving travelers on its Paradise ship exclusive entry to the Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau.
“As we move into 2025, we’re thrilled to add the lively city of Nassau to our expanding roster of island stops,” stated Christopher Ivy, the CEO of the cruise line, in a press release. “Along with this exciting new destination, we’re providing guests with a distinctive ship-to-resort journey, making it the perfect quick escape to paradise.”
When will the Sail and Splash pass become available?
This offer launches in January, when the 1,680-passenger ship begins voyages of two to four nights from Palm Beach, Florida, to the Bahamian capital.
What is the cost of the Sail and Splash pass?
The pass is available for $99 per guest until October 29 during the cruise line’s Black Friday Early Access Sale, after which it will increase to $109. Reservations can be made on the cruise line’s official website.
What can guests look forward to?
The resort is just a short, 10-minute walk from the port in Nassau. It features an on-site water park and a FlowRider surf simulator. Guests looking for a more relaxed day can visit the beach or any of the numerous pools, float down the lazy river, or enjoy snacks and drinks—available for an extra cost—at the various dining spots and bars on site.
Other activities will still be available, including boating, snorkeling, and more.
“We are excited to provide cruise guests with this unique opportunity to explore, unwind, and enjoy our world-class facilities, enhancing their Margaritaville vacation experience,” stated Zachary Frangos, General Manager of Margaritaville Beach Resort Nassau, in the announcement. “Whether it’s soaking up the sun by the pool, splashing in the sea, or enjoying the energetic atmosphere of our water park, guests can effortlessly transition their Margaritaville vibe from the ship to our tropical paradise.”
