Netflix Enlists Mariah Carey to Perform Ahead of NFL Games on December 25
This holiday season, the NFL is treating fans to a special performance from the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, who will sing during the live Christmas Day games on Netflix. This adds to the excitement of Beyoncé’s much-anticipated halftime show featuring the Texans.
Netflix has revealed that Mariah Carey, just back from her Christmas tour, will launch the festive games with a pre-recorded performance of her iconic hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for the inaugural NFL Christmas Gameday on December 25.
Carey’s performance is scheduled to air before the Chiefs face off against the Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, and it will also be shown again before the Ravens and Texans game, which begins at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Beyoncé is set to take the stage during the halftime of the Ravens vs. Texans game in Houston, and fans are eagerly waiting for this as it marks her first performance featuring songs from her eighth studio album “Cowboy Carter.”
Beyoncé recently shared a teaser of her performance on Instagram, calling it “A Cowboy Carter Christmas.”
