Where to Watch NBC’s ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’
The live event will take place on December 4 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock, continuing until 10 p.m. ET.
How large is this year’s tree, and where does it come from?
This year’s tree was brought in from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The Norway Spruce is about 74 feet tall and weighs approximately 11 tons.
“The Norway Spruce is well-suited for this occasion; it can support a lot of lights on its branches, and it stands elegantly as a Christmas Tree should,” said head gardener Erik Pauze in a recent interview. “[This year’s tree] is ideal in every aspect. It has that beautiful Christmas Tree shape all the way to the tip.”
