Meet Budweiser’s Newest Star: The Adorable Baby Clydesdale
Over the years, Budweiser’s Clydesdales have featured in 47 Super Bowl commercials. Catch them and watch the big game at their breeding and training ground in Missouri on February 9.
In Budweiser’s upcoming Super Bowl commercial, a young Clydesdale takes center stage as a supporting character.
In the advertisement, a little foal is too small to join the team as they set off with a full load of Budweiser kegs. When a keg tumbles off the wagon, the determined young horse sets out to deliver it to the right place.
The spot, titled “First Delivery,” marks the 47th time the Budweiser Clydesdales have appeared in a Super Bowl ad. These beloved horses have been featured in some of the most memorable Super Bowl commercials, such as the renowned “Puppy Love” ad from 2014.
That 2014 spot was the most recent one to achieve a composite score exceeding 8 (8.10) in YSL News’s Ad Meter ratings, solidifying Anheuser-Busch InBev’s latest win in the advertising rankings competition.
Join the Clydesdales for the Super Bowl
The charming foal, along with 70 other Clydesdales – including a recently born colt – will make appearances at the annual Football and Foals Watch Party at Warm Springs Ranch, their breeding and training facility located in Boonville, Missouri, roughly 150 miles west of St. Louis.
The Football & Foals event kicks off at 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 9 (tickets are priced at $100 for those aged 21 and over, available at WarmSpringsRanch.com). Attendees will meet the Clydesdales, enjoy a ranch tour, savor appetizers and dinner – plus receive two complimentary beers, a coolie, and a keychain – all while watching the game on a massive 10-foot by 14-foot LED screen.
“This is a unique chance to meet the stars of Budweiser’s latest commercial right on their home turf during the Big Game,” stated Amy Trout, manager of Warm Springs Ranch. “We anticipate a fantastic turnout as fans celebrate the long-standing legacy and history the Budweiser Clydesdales hold with the Super Bowl.”
