Revolutionary AI System Makes Strides in Rapid Detection of Toxic Gases

Researchers have developed an AI-powered system that mimics the human sense of smell to detect and track toxic gases in real time. Using advanced artificial neural networks combined with a network of sensors, the system quickly identifies the source of harmful gases like nitrogen dioxide that poses severe respiratory health risks. Michael Thomas Calls Out Derek Carr: ‘He Needs a Reality Check’

Michael Thomas Criticizes Derek Carr: ‘He Needs to Get His (expletive) Whooped’

Michael Thomas is expressing his true feelings.

The former receiver for the New Orleans Saints is currently without a team, but it seems unlikely that he will be calling Derek Carr for a recommendation anytime soon.

His outburst on X, previously known as Twitter, came after teammate Chris Olave endured his second concussion in under a month. Olave suffered a hard hit from Panthers safety Xavier Woods, who was penalized for unnecessary roughness. He was transported off the field via stretcher while wearing a neck brace and taken to a local hospital for assessment.

Witnessing the situation unfold in Carolina, Thomas took to social media to express his frustrations with his former quarterback.

Michael Thomas Critiques Derek Carr on X

Thomas, who played only 10 games with Carr in the 2023 season, clearly has a low opinion of him.

“Derek Carr, I’ve told you all (expletive) sad,” his first post stated. “Dude panics and just throws the ball randomly. Get him the f out of here, he’s (expletive),” Thomas went on.

He also criticized Carr’s performance in the 2022 season when he was still with the Raiders, mentioning Carr’s connection with Davante Adams, who earned first-team All-Pro status during his first year after leaving Green Bay.

“That year his buddy made 1st team All-Pro in 2022 and he needed 180 targets just to hit 100 receptions,” another post stated. “He is (expletive) on my grandma.”

This is not the first instance of Thomas voicing his frustration with Carr. After getting a season-ending knee injury in 2023, he took to social media to critique Carr for inaccurate throws.

“Dude lied and said I was jealous of them making Chris WR1, when he can’t even deliver him a decent pass,” Thomas claimed. “He needs his (expletive) whooped. They fired all those coaches trying to hide his flaws, and he’s still doing the same (expletive).”

After the match, Carr was offered a chance to respond to Thomas’ comments.

“I care about Mike,” Carr said. “And when he does things like that, it doesn’t sit well with me. I’ve had many teammates, and he’s one of the few who hasn’t gotten along with me. I’m not sure what I did to him or why he feels that way. I hope everything works out for him.”

Carr mentioned he has never received a call from Thomas and expressed his best wishes for his former teammate.

Thomas is now a free agent after being released by the Saints due to a failed physical. The announcement of his post-June 1 cut came in March 2024.

Michael Thomas Career Statistics

At his prime, Thomas was considered among the top receivers in the NFL. Drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, he started strong with four consecutive seasons exceeding 1,000 receiving yards. As the main target for quarterback Drew Brees, he achieved remarkable success.

His partnership with Brees culminated in one of the most excellent receiving seasons in NFL history in 2019. Thomas received the Offensive Player of the Year award that year after making 149 receptions for 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns. A three-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro, Thomas’ performance drastically declined post-2019 due to injuries. From 2020 to 2023, he participated in only 20 games, missing the entire 2021 season.
