NBA trade tracker: Jimmy Butler joins Warriors in major multi-team trade
The NBA is still buzzing from an enormous trade that has reshaped the landscape of the league – one of the most significant trades in NBA history.
Last weekend, a surprise shook the league when the Dallas Mavericks traded their star guard Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis as part of a three-team deal involving several players and draft picks.
Before anyone could catch their breath, the Golden State Warriors confirmed on Wednesday night that they had struck a deal to bring Jimmy Butler over from the Miami Heat in a complicated multi-team transaction.
While it will be tough to top these remarkable trades as the NBA approaches the Thursday 3 p.m. ET trade deadline, several players remain available for potential moves.
Other players being considered in trade discussions include New Orleans’ Brandon Ingram, Washington’s Jordan Poole, Utah’s Collin Sexton, John Collins, and Jordan Clarkson, as well as Brooklyn’s Cam Johnson.
With Zach LaVine now off the Bulls’ roster, could they be looking to further restructure their team through additional trades involving Nik Vucevic and/or Lonzo Ball?
Are teams like Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Memphis aiming for a high-profile addition?
We will know soon enough.
