Norwegian cancels months of cruises on three more ships in 2025, 2026

Norwegian Cruise Line has canceled multiple months of sailings on three of its ships, marking the second cancellation announcement in just a few weeks.

The canceled cruises affect the Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Bliss, and Norwegian Breakaway, with changes scheduled for these months:

  • Norwegian Encore: November 2025 to January 2026
  • Norwegian Bliss: November 2025 to March 2026
  • Norwegian Breakaway: January 2026 to February 2026

A spokesperson explained that these changes are due to a “fleet redeployment.” Guests who had bookings on these sailings will receive a full refund of their fare along with a 10% credit for future cruises, which can be used on any available voyage until December 31, 2026.

In their statement, the cruise line reassured travelers of their commitment to providing outstanding vacation experiences and showcasing top travel spots worldwide. They acknowledged that while they strive to keep original travel plans intact, certain itineraries may need to be canceled to introduce better offerings that meet guest interest and deliver a richer experience.

This announcement follows Norwegian’s previous decision to cancel about five months of cruises for the Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Star, and Norwegian Jewel last month.
