If you prefer to stay closer to home, cities like Mexico City or Montreal are great options, with average nightly rates below $200 in November, according to Hotels.com.

“November usually sees these locations less crowded since it’s off-peak season with cooler, rainy weather, and Christmas markets haven’t yet started,” a Hotels.com spokesperson explained via email.

“Osaka is the most affordable option, with Tokyo and Kyoto offering nightly averages below $250 on Hotels.com,” the spokesperson noted. Travelers may also discover good deals in Seoul, South Korea; Taipei, Taiwan; and Singapore.
