The popular anime and manga series, “One Piece,” is making its debut at Universal Studios Hollywood, and it won’t be alone.

Alongside the much-loved “One Piece,” the event will also feature the hit series “Jujutsu Kaisen,” as part of the new Universal Fan Fest Nights, an after-hours event launching next year, as announced at L.A. Comic Con on Friday.

While anime collaborations have been a hit in Universal Studios Japan, this will be the first occurrence in the U.S. parks.

The event promises to attract fans of anime, cosplay, gaming, sci-fi, and fantasy. Here’s what fans can look forward to.

What Are Universal Fan Fest Nights?

Similar to Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Fan Fest Nights will be a special, separately ticketed, after-hours event that is not included in standard admission to the Southern California park.

According to Universal, the event will showcase “an exciting array of immersive experiences, along with engaging celebratory activities throughout the park, including live entertainment and cosplay, encouraging guests to immerse themselves in their favorite characters and connect with fellow fans.”

This event is being developed by the same team that produces Horror Nights, but unlike the Halloween celebration, which is unsuitable for children under 13, Universal Fan Fest Nights will be family-friendly.

Which Franchises Will Be Featured?

In addition to “One Piece” and “Jujutsu Kaisen,” attendees can also look forward to experiences based on “Star Trek,” the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Dungeons & Dragons, and “Back to the Future,” which celebrates its 40th anniversary next year.

All featured experiences will be available for every night of the event.

More details will be released soon, but Universal has hinted that the U.S.S. Enterprise-D from “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and the bridge set from the third season of “Star Trek: Picard” will be included in the Fan Fest Nights. Visitors will also have the chance to meet a Niffler, along with other magical experiences in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

What Other Activities Will Be Available at the Event?

During the event, Super Nintendo World and select rides will remain open, including:

• Flight of the Hippogriff
• Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
• Jurassic World – The Ride
• Revenge of the Mummy – The Ride
• The Simpsons Ride
• Transformers: The Ride-3D

Event-specific food and merchandise will also be on offer.

When Will Universal Fan Fest Nights Take Place?

Universal Fan Fest Nights is scheduled for:

• April 25-27
• May 2-4, 9-11, 16-18

What Are the Ticket Prices for Universal Fan Fest Nights?

Although ticket prices have yet to be revealed, this year’s Halloween Horror Nights tickets began at $77 at the Southern California location, and one-day general admission tickets start at $109.

Tickets for Universal Fan Fest Nights will be available for purchase early next year.
