‘The Perfect Pool and Beach Experience’: Royal Caribbean Unveils All-Inclusive Beach Club in the Bahamas
Relaxing beside a pool or at the beach is a must on any cruise getaway. However, Royal Caribbean is aiming to elevate that experience with an exciting new private venue in the Bahamas.
Philip Simon, president of Royal Caribbean Group Bahamas, shared with YSL News, “The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island offers an unparalleled pool and beach experience. Our goal is to merge the stunning beauty of the world’s best pools with the breathtaking beaches that the Bahamas are known for.”
On Thursday, the company unveiled more information about the first site in its Royal Beach Club Collection set to open next year. Additionally, Royal Caribbean plans to launch Royal Beach Club Cozumel in 2026 and further expand its offerings in 2027 with Perfect Day Mexico in Mahahual.
Here’s what visitors can look forward to at Royal Beach Club Paradise Island:
When is the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island opening?
This new beach club is set to open in December 2025, with the exact date yet to be announced.
What can patrons expect?
The beach club will span 17 acres at the western tip of Paradise Island. Alongside pristine beaches, guests will discover more than 40 cabanas, seven beach bars, and three swim-up bars, including The Floating Flamingo, touted as “the world’s largest swim-up bar.”
Facilities will be divided into three unique sections, each offering food, pools, and various activities. These include a kid-friendly Family Beach featuring games like paddle ball and tug-of-war; the Ultimate Family Cabana with its own whirlpool, slide, and a frozen drink machine; and the energetic Party Cove, complete with a DJ and VIP zone.
For those seeking a relaxed atmosphere, Chill Beach will provide areas for sunbathing, shopping, and other perks. Simon, a native of the Bahamas, mentioned that the design embraces the island’s culture with vibrant murals, music, and dance performances to welcome visitors.
“We aim to create more than just a moment of awe,” he stated. “We aspire to craft memories that will last a lifetime, as that encapsulates our mission.” The initiative is part of a public-private collaboration, allowing Bahamians up to 49% ownership stake.
Royal Caribbean’s ships will be making stops at Royal Beach Club Paradise Island from six ports across the U.S.: Baltimore; Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Port Canaveral in Florida; Cape Liberty in New Jersey; and Galveston, Texas.
What about the cost of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island?
Specific pricing details are not yet available; however, guests can gain access to the beach club by purchasing a day pass, which will be available for sale early next year. This includes water taxi rides from the port area – just a few minutes away – along with food, drinks, Wi-Fi, and more. Extra-cost offerings include cabanas and various shore excursions.
“We envision this as a blend of exclusive experience coupled with all-inclusive offerings,” said Simon.
