The New England Patriots broke their six-game losing streak with a 25-22 victory against the New York Jets on Sunday. After extending the Jets’ losing streak to five, a Patriots player shared some strong thoughts on Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Pats defensive tackle Davon Godchaux provided his take on the former four-time NFL MVP’s performance, stating that Rodgers is currently “struggling” and doesn’t seem to perform like he used to.

“You can’t tell if he can move back there,” Godchaux told reporters, as reported by the Boston Herald. “(Expletive), I could run him down and catch him. He seems completely immobile.

“It worked out well for us. We know we can pressure him and go after him in the passing game too. So, we’re pleased to leave with the win.”

Rodgers was sacked once and ended the game with 233 yards and two touchdowns, completing 17 of 28 passes. He hasn’t made a rushing attempt in his last four games.

“I’ve experienced the darkness. You have to confront it,” Rodgers said in a postgame press conference when asked if the team’s 2-6 record felt like a dark moment. “Offensively, our aim has to be to score 30 (points). Regardless of what the other two units do, we trust our defense and (special) teams. But if we’re not hitting 30, we’re not reaching our potential. This offense can achieve that each week.”

The Jets now have a short turnaround as they prepare for a home match against the AFC South-leading Houston Texans (6-2) on Halloween.
