Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner: ‘No factual basis whatsoever’ for Trump fraud claims
On Tuesday, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner asserted that there is no evidence to substantiate Donald Trump’s allegations of election fraud in Philadelphia. “The accusations of widespread cheating are coming solely from one candidate, Donald J. Trump. There is absolutely no factual basis for these outrageous claims within law enforcement. We have opened the door to any complaints or claims of misconduct today. If Donald J. Trump possesses any evidence to support these claims, we would like to see it immediately. We’re not going to hold our breath,” Krasner stated.
Krasner’s remarks followed Trump’s unfounded claims regarding fraud in Pennsylvania, which he shared on social media platform Truth Social, saying, “A lot of talk about massive CHEATING in Philadelphia. Law Enforcement coming!!!”
According to CNN, the Philadelphia Police Department has indicated that they are not aware of any voting-related issues that would require law enforcement to intervene.
