Tequila-infused Chicken? Popeyes and Don Julio Launch Exclusive Menu

On Tuesday, Popeyes and Tequila Don Julio revealed their collaboration for a unique culinary experience in celebration of the upcoming Super Bowl, introducing the Popeyes x Tequila Don Julio Championship Lineup menu.
At the forefront of this menu is the new Popeyes x Tequila Don Julio Reposado Flavored Concha Chicken Sandwich. This sandwich features a chicken breast fillet marinated in reposado tequila, fried with Popeyes’ crunchy buttermilk breading, and topped with a tequila lime slaw, a spicy spread, a barrel-aged pickle, all nestled within a sweet and buttery concha roll.
Other menu highlights include the Popeyes x Tequila Don Julio Reposado Flavored Louisiana Garlic 3-Piece Wings served with a special sauce, alongside a Spicy Strawberry Hibiscus Flavored Lemonade Mocktail.
Availability of the New Menu
According to a press release from the companies, this exclusive menu will only be available for one day on January 31 at select Popeyes locations in New York City, Miami, New Orleans, and the home cities of the Super Bowl teams, Philadelphia and Kansas City. Additionally, the flagship Popeyes restaurant on Canal Street in New Orleans will offer the menu from January 31 until February 9, while supplies last.

Those who are unable to try the new items can still benefit from a buy-one-get-one-free offer on chicken sandwiches when ordering through UberEats. Additionally, there will be a $5 discount code available for Tequila Don Julio from January 29 through February 9, which can also be used for Popeyes chicken sandwiches or wings.
