In states like Florida, Trump supporters celebrated at bars, on the streets, and around campuses. Meanwhile, Harris supporters expressed feelings of disappointment, fear, and despair.
“I’m going home feeling frustrated and a bit bewildered,” shared a voter from Pennsylvania who was taken aback by Trump’s narrow victory in the state, winning with 50.6% despite a predominance of blue voters in Philadelphia.
Grand Canyon University in Arizona
At Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, students backing Trump paraded across the campus as he was about to be declared the winner, waving flags and chanting “YSL News” while singing the national anthem.
By 10:47 ET Wednesday morning, Trump had claimed a narrow victory in the state with a 51.9% lead and 60% of the votes accounted for.
