Sabrina Carpenter Takes Center Stage with a Surprise ‘Arrest’ of Domingo at LA Concert!

Sabrina Carpenter “arrests” Domingo from ‘Saturday Night Live’ at Los Angeles concert

On Sunday, fans witnessed a fun crossover as a star from “SNL” joined Sabrina Carpenter during her Short n’ Sweet Tour.

During her concert at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, Carpenter invited Marcello Hernandez, also known as Domingo from “Saturday Night Live,” to the stage. This moment was part of a tour tradition where Carpenter humorously “arrests” a guest deemed “too hot” before she performs her song, “Juno.”

The crowd went wild when Hernandez shouted, “Sabrina, I’m here! My name is Domingo,” in between songs. Embracing the persona from “SNL,” Hernandez donned a dark blue suit and a fake goatee. The stage was illuminated with red and blue lights, mimicking police sirens, as Carpenter addressed him.

Carpenter asked him on stage, “Is there anything you want to say before I arrest you, Domingo?”

Hernandez responded with a playful lyric to the tune of Carpenter’s hit song, “Espresso,” saying, “Came all this way, had to explain, direct from Domingo. Sabrina’s a friend. She’s like my sis, but I would hook up though.”

What ‘SNL’ skit features Domingo?

This exchange was a nod to Hernandez’s debut skit as Domingo on SNL, which aired on October 12.

In that sketch, he parodied “Espresso” alongside Ariana Grande, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Sarah Sherman, where the bridesmaids—played by the women—sing off-key, spotlighting how their friend fell for a man named Domingo during her bachelorette party. At the end of the sketch, Domingo appears to share the story with the groom.

Carpenter reportedly enjoyed the parody, posting the video to her Instagram story with the comment, “Vice nice and on pitch.” Ariana Grande responded, “tysm (thank you so much) we tried.”

Hernandez made another appearance on “SNL” in a related skit featuring the same cast along with musical guest Charli XCX.

This sequel took place during a baby shower where the women sang Chappell Roan’s “HOT TO GO,” revealing how Fineman’s character reconnects with Domingo once again.

Throughout her Short n’ Sweet Tour, Carpenter has consistently welcomed notable guests. Recently, she surprised her audience by inviting Christina Aguilera on stage at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Previously, she also featured Millie Bobby Brown during her concert in Atlanta before performing “Juno.”
