Today is Election Day in the United States.
As citizens nationwide head to the polls, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are eager to find out if one of them will secure the title of the 47th president of the United States.
Throughout the campaign, many celebrities have come forward to express their support, and this week, several high-profile figures joined the fray.
Actor Harrison Ford backed Democratic candidate Harris, while Joe Rogan endorsed Republican candidate Trump. These are just a few of the last-minute celebrity endorsements ahead of the presidential election.
Let’s take a look at the latest endorsements from celebrities.
Joe Rogan
Highly popular podcaster Joe Rogan announced his support for Trump just before the election.
In a post promoting a podcast episode with X owner Elon Musk, he stated, “The great and powerful @elonmusk … He presents what I believe is the most convincing argument for Trump, and I fully agree with him. Just to clarify, this is indeed an endorsement of Trump.”
Only a week earlier, Rogan mentioned he had talked to the Harris campaign about having her on his show, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” but chose not to travel to her location for the interview.
His announcement followed a three-hour conversation he had with Trump. Nevertheless, Rogan expressed his desire to have a discussion with Harris in the future.
“I genuinely want to have a meaningful conversation and understand her better as a person,” Rogan shared. “I really hope this can be arranged.”
Harrison Ford
Actor Harrison Ford has voiced his support for Harris.
“I’ve been voting for 64 years,” the “Indiana Jones” star stated in a black-and-white video clip shared online. He admits he’s never been one to discuss his voting preferences openly and encouraged voters to “advance” with Harris.
“When numerous ex-members of the Trump administration are sounding alarms saying, ‘for God’s sake, don’t do this again,’ we must listen. They are conveying a critical message,” Ford added.
Megyn Kelly
Commentator and media figure Megyn Kelly expressed her support for Trump during a rally held in Pennsylvania on Monday.
“He will be a guardian for women, which is the reason I’m voting for him,” Kelly stated.
William Dwight McKissic Sr.
A prominent Texas pastor has endorsed Harris via social media.
“I’m standing for character, supporting someone who would never instigate or partake in something like the January 6 insurrection that was led and funded by Donald J. Trump,” McKissic asserted.
