Live updates, scores, and highlights for the Steelers vs. Browns game on Thursday Night Football

This Thursday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2) will face off against the Cleveland Browns (2-8) as they start Week 12 of the NFL season. The Steelers are currently leading the AFC North and are enjoying a five-game winning streak, while the Browns are on a two-game losing streak, hoping to upset their rivals in this highly competitive division.

Russell Wilson is having a standout season, overcoming an early injury to his calf. As the Steelers’ starting quarterback, he’s celebrated four wins in his first four games, throwing six touchdowns and only two interceptions during this period.

In contrast, the Steelers’ offense struggled to find the end zone during their last game, an 18-16 victory over the Ravens. Their defense, however, shone brightly, limiting the talented Lamar Jackson to just 207 passing yards and 46 rushing yards.

The Browns will have Jameis Winston under center for the fourth consecutive week. Since the injury to Deshaun Watson, Winston has performed admirably. In their latest matchup, a 35-14 loss to the Saints, he completed 30 out of 46 passes for 395 yards and two touchdowns.

Stay tuned with YSL News Sports for live updates ahead of and during the Thursday night game between the Browns and Steelers.

Browns go three-and-out on their first drive

The opening drive for the Browns was far from thrilling, as they quickly went three-and-out, losing two yards in the process. This led to the first punt of the night, which was mis-hit by Corey Bojorquez, traveling only 12 yards. In a lighthearted moment, Pittsburgh’s Damontae Kazee blocked the Browns’ gunner into the bench, resulting in a 15-yard penalty—though without the bench, it could have been much worse.

Steelers unable to score on their first drive

Pittsburgh managed to advance on their opening drive but hit a wall when Myles Garrett tackled Russell Wilson for a crucial sack. Chris Boswell came on for a 58-yard field goal attempt but missed, leaving the game scoreless amid the ongoing snowfall.
