Fantasy football buy low, sell high: 10 trade targets for Week 4

The third week of fantasy football is often crucial. As player roles become clearer and injury situations develop, fantasy managers start to assess how their teams perform compared to others in the league.

For those starting off with a record of 1-2 or 0-3, it’s vital to turn things around before facing the risk of a fourth defeat. In such situations, making a trade could be the key to getting things back on track.

Let’s examine some players whose trade values are either rising or falling based on their recent performances in Week 3.

Fantasy football: 5 players to buy in Week 4

WR Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers: Due to injuries affecting key players, Jennings stepped up when needed. With Christian McCaffrey on IR, and Deebo Samuel and George Kittle also sidelined, he had a standout performance with 11 catches for 175 yards and three touchdowns on 12 targets. Jennings is a solid starter while Deebo remains unavailable.

WR Diontae Johnson, Carolina Panthers: Johnson, who was expected to support Bryce Young, finally found his stride under Andy Dalton in Week 3, recording his first 100-yard game for the Panthers along with a touchdown. This indicates the offense is starting to function better.

RB Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Fantasy owners hoped Rachaad White would emerge as a reliable RB1 or strong RB2, but that hasn’t happened yet. However, rookie Irving saw a significant increase in usage with 70 rushing yards on just nine carries in Week 3. His 12 touches marked a season high, and with White struggling, Irving’s role is likely to grow.

RB Tyler Badie, Denver Broncos: Badie made a notable impact in Week 3, rushing for 70 yards on nine attempts, including a 43-yard run. His performance outshined both Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin, suggesting that he could be increasingly relied upon in Week 4.

TE Tyler Conklin, New York Jets: After two lackluster outings, Conklin excelled in Week 3 with five receptions for 93 yards. Historically, Aaron Rodgers tends to utilize tight ends frequently, so as Conklin builds chemistry with him, his fantasy value could continue to rise.

Fantasy football: 5 players to sell in Week 4

RB Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys: Elliott’s return to Dallas was welcomed, but his performance has been underwhelming. In Week 3 against the Ravens, he only carried three times for a mere six yards. The Cowboys abandoned the running game early, allowing Rico Dowdle to take more snaps, raising concerns about Elliott’s diminishing role.

QB Jared Goff, Detroit Lions: While Goff threw for two touchdowns for the first time this season, he also has more interceptions (4) than touchdowns overall (3). The Lions seem to be focusing more on their rushing attack, which doesn’t bode well for Goff’s fantasy value.

RB Zamir White, Las Vegas Raiders: Following a couple of tough matchups, expectations were high for White against the Panthers in Week 3, but he only managed 34 yards on 10 carries and didn’t contribute in the passing game. That kind of performance is unacceptable.

RB D’Onta Foreman, Cleveland Browns: Following a performance where Foreman had 14 carries against the Jaguars, expectations surged. However, he saw just two offensive touches in Week 3, indicating a reduced role, especially with Nick Chubb’s return on the horizon.

QB Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts: Richardson kicked off the season strong with solid stats in Week 1, but since then, both his passing and rushing stats have dwindled. In Week 3, he failed to score any touchdowns and is completing only 49.3% of his passes, making him a risky choice for your fantasy lineup.

Currently, we find ourselves in a realm of fantasy.
