Fantasy football trading strategies: 10 players to target for Week 11

Although the NFL trade deadline has come and gone, fantasy football managers still have opportunities to make strategic trades to improve their squads as the season progresses.

While finding a star player might be tougher in non-keeper leagues, a little creativity can uncover viable trade options in redraft leagues. Players returning from injuries or benefiting from favorable future matchups are always worth considering.

Below are some players whose trade values have shifted based on their performances in Week 10:

Fantasy football players to acquire for Week 11

TE T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings: In his second game back from knee surgery, Hockenson led the team with eight catches on nine targets totaling 72 yards. It won’t take long for him to regain his TE1 status.

WR Calvin Ridley, Tennessee Titans: Regardless of whether Will Levis or Mason Rudolph plays quarterback for the Titans, Ridley continues to shine. He has received at least eight targets in every game since the Week 5 bye, most recently scoring two touchdowns on Sunday. His upcoming matchups also look promising.

WR John Metchie III, Houston Texans: Metchie caught five passes for a game-high 74 yards and a touchdown against the Lions. Although top receiver Nico Collins is set to return next week, Metchie has proven he can contribute alongside three solid receivers.

RB Austin Ekeler, Washington Commanders: With Brian Robinson Jr. out, Ekeler seized the opportunity to become the main back, scoring twice and reminding everyone of his previous fantasy relevance.

RB Audric Estime, Denver Broncos: The rookie from Notre Dame took center stage as Javonte Williams had a minimal impact with only one carry and two catches. Estime’s value has risen sharply, potentially making him a low-end RB2 option moving forward.

Fantasy football players to trade away for Week 11

WR CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: We’ve seen the impact of losing a starting quarterback before, and Lamb’s fantasy numbers are likely to drop significantly with either Cooper Rush or Trey Lance at the helm for the struggling Cowboys.

WR Gabe Davis, Jacksonville Jaguars: Davis caught only one pass on four targets last week and has just two receptions for 32 yards over the last three games. His move to Jacksonville has not been fruitful outside of one standout performance.

RB Jordan Mason, San Francisco 49ers: With Christian McCaffrey’s return, Mason received only one touch, essentially killing his fantasy value. Although CMC tends to get injured, Mason isn’t a strong starter option at this moment.

RB Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers: Harris struggled against Washington, averaging just 2.5 yards per carry. He did score a touchdown, but with only 53 yards total and Jaylen Warren performing better, Harris’s future looks bleak.

RB Roschon Johnson, Chicago Bears: After the Bears traded Khalil Herbert, Johnson was expected to see an increased role behind D’Andre Swift, but he had just two touches for one yard in Week 10 against the Patriots.
