‘Survivor’ Season 47: Idols, advantages, arguments, oh my! Who went home on Episode 4?

The game of “Survivor” Season 47 is already proving to be exciting, with players eliminated, bonds tested, and the search for immunity idols continuing intensely.

In Episode 4, titled “Is That Blood in Your Hair,” members of all three tribes focused on strengthening or testing their alliances. On the Tuku tribe, 59-year-old Sue Smey had to deceive her fellow tribe members while concealing evidence of her discovery of a hidden immunity idol, which greatly improves her chance of staying in the game.

Conflicts also erupted among other tribes regarding the search for idols and the suspicion that someone might be looking for them.

This marks an exciting beginning to the 47th season of the popular CBS reality show, hosted by Jeff Probst since it debuted 23 years ago.

Here’s a recap of who was voted off during Episode 4 of “Survivor” Season 47.

Who went home on ‘Survivor’ Season 47, Episode 4?

Once again, the Luvo tribe finished last in the immunity challenge, while the Gata and Tuku tribes placed first and second, securing rewards of live chickens and eggs. Consequently, members Genevieve Mushaluk, Rome Cooney, Kishan Patel, Solomon “Sol” Yi, and Teeny Chirichillo had to vote out one of their own.

Cooney had a “steal a vote” advantage, while Chirichillo had taken a gamble earlier and lost a vote. Initially, Yi assumed he was the one heading home due to his ongoing rivalry with Cooney, but other tribe members had different plans.

During the tribal council, a majority voted for Patel, a 28-year-old ER doctor from San Francisco, resulting in his exit from the game, thanks to Cooney’s two votes from his advantage.

Heading into Episode 5, the Luvo tribe finds themselves slightly at a disadvantage with four players remaining, in contrast to the five players on the other two tribes.

Who went home last week on ‘Survivor’?

Similar to this week, the Luvo tribe also ranked last during Episode 3, marking their first defeat in an immunity challenge that featured various obstacles and a water puzzle.

In that episode, Cooney activated an immunity idol ensuring his safety in the game, while the majority of the votes (three) were cast against Aysha Welch, a 32-year-old IT professional from Houston, leading to her elimination.
