Target is Kicking Off Black Friday Early with New Sales Next Week


Target is jumping ahead of the official Black Friday event by launching its holiday discounts early.

 

The discount frenzy kicks off this week with daily Deal of the Day offers starting Friday, November 1, continuing through December 24. These deals will be available exclusively to members of the free Target Circle loyalty program, accessible via the Target app.

Next week, Target will hold a three-day Early Black Friday Sale from November 7-9 (Thursday to Saturday), featuring “thousands of exciting new deals, many discounted up to 50%,” the company announced in a press release on Wednesday.

Additionally, beginning Sunday, November 3, Target will introduce new weekly deals continuing throughout the holiday shopping period. For the first week (Nov. 3-Nov. 9), customers can expect discounts of up to 50% on floorcare and headphones, along with up to 30% off baby products and selected home decor. There will also be a “buy one, get one 50% off” offer on toys, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You can discover all weekly promotions in Target’s Weekly Ad, released every Friday.

 

The upcoming holiday season is anticipated to be bustling, with consumer spending projected to surpass last year’s figures by 2.5% to 3.5%, according to the National Retail Federation.

 

“We understand that shoppers have many options for holiday shopping, so we are focusing on what Target excels at – offering excellent products, unbeatable prices, and a shopping experience that is straightforward and enjoyable,” stated Rick Gomez, Target’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

In a related note, rival retailer Walmart has also announced its Black Friday strategy this week, revealing special sale dates from November 11 through Cyber Monday (December 1).

 

What You Should Know About Target’s Early Black Friday Sale

If you’re eager for Black Friday to arrive, you don’t have to wait. Target’s Early Black Friday Sale kicks off on Thursday, November 7, and runs until Saturday, November 9.

 

Target stores will operate on their usual schedules, generally from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. local time. Discounts will apply to various products including clothing, accessories, toys, kitchenware, floorcare items, holiday decorations, and bedding and lighting.

Featured deals during the Early Black Friday Sale will include:

  • Up to 50% off on small appliances.
  • 50% off on Threshold holiday-themed sheets.
  • Up to 40% off on technology items.
  • 30% off on select toys.
  • 30% off on apparel and footwear.
  • 30% off on holiday trees and lights.

Throughout the holiday shopping season from November 7 to December 24, Target’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee will be effective. This means if you buy an item and the price drops later at Target, they will adjust the price for you. Target will also match the prices of select competitors within 14 days after your purchase.
