LONDON — Several families who attended a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, U.K., when a man attacked and injured ten others while tragically claiming the lives of three children, were invited backstage at the Eras Tour to meet the artist.

One mother, Sami Foster, shared a heartfelt montage set to Swift’s “Enchanted” from the 1989 World Tour. She wrote on TikTok, “You drew stars around my scars 💫🥹 …. A huge thank you to @Taylor Swift and her mother for creating such a magical night for us all 🫶🏻 thank you for filling Hope & Autumn with true happiness last night & always 💗💗💗”

On July 29, three young children aged between 6 and 9 lost their lives. Two adults and eight other children were also injured but were discharged from the hospital days later, as reported by Merseyside police.

Authorities apprehended a 17-year-old male, charging him with the murders of Bebe King, Elsie Dot Stancombe, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, in addition to ten counts of attempted murder and possessing a knife.

Swift expressed her devastation the next morning in an Instagram story: “The horror of yesterday’s attack is overwhelming, and I’m still in shock. These were innocent children at a dance class. I truly struggle to find the words to convey my condolences to these families.”

Over 22,000 fans came together to raise more than 385,000 Euros ($426,000) to support the victims of the attack.

Swift has one final performance at Wembley Stadium in London before completing her European leg of the Eras Tour and taking a two-month hiatus. The tour will continue in Miami on Oct. 18.
