Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark Enjoy Game Together as Chiefs Face Texans
The Kansas City Chiefs are in a tight matchup against the Houston Texans for the NFL divisional round playoffs. The Chiefs, who earned a first-round bye, are back in action at home.
Chiefs supporter Taylor Swift was present at the game on Saturday, accompanied by her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift. She settled into one of the suites, a familiar spot for watching the games, and had a special visitor: Caitlin Clark, a guard for the Indiana Fever.
Sharp-eyed fans might have noticed the Fever star early in the game alongside Swift in the suite.
In the third quarter, the broadcast featured a moment showing Swift and Clark sitting together and enjoying the game.
Clark is a fan of both the Chiefs and Swift. She had a chance to meet Swift during the singer’s visit to Indianapolis last November.
Since starting her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce during the current NFL season, Swift has been a frequent attendee at Chiefs games, particularly during the playoffs. She was seen sharing a suite with actress Blake Lively at Super Bowl 58 and has become a regular presence at nationally broadcast Chiefs games.
Is Caitlin Clark a Supporter of the Chiefs?
Absolutely. The Fever guard from Des Moines, Iowa, shared on the “New Heights” podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce that she has been a Chiefs fan her whole life.
“I have family in Kansas City, and growing up in Des Moines, Iowa, which is just three hours away, the Chiefs were the closest NFL team,” Clark explained during the podcast. “That’s why I’ve always supported them.”
Her family’s support also included love for another iconic Kansas City tight end.
“My brother was a big fan of Tony Gonzalez,” she mentioned. “We used to attend one game a year as kids since my cousin lived in Kansas City.”
