Abigail Anderson Berard, who has been Taylor Swift’s close friend since childhood, has welcomed her new baby.

“Our baby boy decided to arrive a little earlier than we thought,” wrote Anderson Berard on Instagram. “We are overflowing with love. Welcome to the world, Bennett—it’s all yours. 💙”

The new mother announced her pregnancy on Instagram in July, sharing a post inspired by Swift’s song “Tortured Poets.” The Nashville local displayed a photo of herself snacking on Cheez-Its, with her unbuttoned black shirt showing off her baby bump, captioned, “I’m having his babyyyy.”

Anderson Berard and Swift’s friendship dates back to their high school days. In her track “Fifteen,” Swift reflects on their early encounter at Hendersonville High School: “You sit next to a redhead named Abigail / And before you know it, you’re best friends / Chuckling at the other girls / Who think they’re so cool / We’ll be out of this place as soon as we can.”
