Unveiling the Brilliant Hues of Electrons: Insights from Electron Imaging

Surfaces play a key role in numerous chemical reactions, including catalysis and corrosion. Understanding the atomic structure of the surface of a functional material is essential for both engineers and chemists. Researchers used atomic-resolution secondary electron (SE) imaging to capture the atomic structure of the very top layer of materials to better understand the differences

Tesla Bot Action Figure Sparks Mad Rush, Now Fetching Up to $1,300 on Resale Platforms

Tesla Bot Action Figure sells out, is now listed for up to $1,300 on resale sites

This $40 action figure features over 40 parts and 20 points of articulation, complete with a charging stand and a “CyberHammer” accessory.

In 2021, Elon Musk introduced Tesla’s humanoid robot, envisioning a 5-foot, 8-inch AI assistant. However, the company has instead launched a seven-inch action figure representing that robot.

The action figure, priced at $40, went on sale on Saturday and sold out in less than 24 hours, according to Teslarati, an outlet that reports on Musk and his companies. As of Monday, it remains unavailable for purchase, with customers only able to sign up for notifications about restocks.

Tesla describes the action figure as “Your mini autonomous assistant and humanoid friend.”

The figure is crafted at a 1:10 scale and is designed to be both collectible and playable, boasting over 40 parts and 20 points of articulation to mimic movements of Tesla’s Gen 2 humanoid robot.

Along with the action figure, buyers will receive a charging stand and a “CyberHammer” accessory, as stated by Tesla.

When will the Tesla Bot Action Figure be available again?

At this time, interested customers can only find the Tesla Bot Action Figure on eBay, where prices range from $130 to $1,300.

Details on when those who purchased directly from Tesla will receive their orders or when the figure will be restocked remain unclear.

YSL News reached out to Tesla on Monday but has not received a reply.

What about Tesla’s humanoid robots?

In a earnings conference on July 23, Musk indicated that Tesla plans to start limited production of the first version of its Optimus humanoid robot early next year, but these initial units will be for internal use only, allowing the company to refine them.

He mentioned, “We expect to have several thousand Optimus robots produced and operational by the end of next year in Tesla’s factories.”

Production of these robots will expand in 2026, at which point the second version will be available for external customers, Musk stated.
