What transpired between Ramses and Marissa on ‘Love is Blind’ Season 7? Here’s a summary
Season 7 of “Love is Blind” has concluded, at least until the reunion show airs.
While two couples celebrated their love, others like Marissa and Ramses weren’t as fortunate.
Among the three couples who were supposed to get married in the finale, Taylor and Garrett, along with Ashley and Tyler, successfully exchanged vows, while Ramses Prashad and Marissa George decided to part ways, with Ramses expressing he could no longer “sweep things under the rug.”
The couple, who got engaged in the pods like the others, faced various conflicts on issues like the military and birth control after their initial interactions and honeymoon in Mexico. Although they managed to work through these issues and were preparing for their wedding, Ramses suddenly began to doubt their relationship, fearing that Marissa’s vibrant personality might be overwhelming for him.
Ramses explained to Marissa that his time living with her significantly influenced his thoughts, as he questioned whether her energy would be “too intense,” saying that although he enjoyed their time together in the pods and in Cabo, he was uncertain about handling it in everyday life.
He also mentioned that conversations with his family revealed that his ex-wife had a tough time after their divorce, and he didn’t want to inflict similar pain on Marissa.
“Having been married and witnessing other marriages, I realize love by itself may not be sufficient,” Ramses conveyed to Marissa. “This bond is incredible, but there are crucial aspects regarding cohabitation and daily life that are very important.”
While Marissa attempted to persuade Ramses by highlighting that they have navigated challenges together successfully, Ramses stood firm, asserting that if he altered his perspective, he would be acting on “feelings” rather than “logic.”
As their relationship came to a close, a stunned Marissa broke down while calling her mother to inform her that the wedding would not be taking place.
Which couples ended their relationships in ‘Love is Blind’ Season 7?
The couples who got engaged in the pods and have since separated include:
- Monica and Stephen
- Hannah and Nick
- Brittany and Leo
