To officially begin the holiday shopping season, Target turns businesses into” Fantastical Forest.”
For the holidays, Target is deck its shops out with a’ Fantastical Forest ‘ design. Additionally, Berry the Bear, the company’s new bird mascot, may be present in some of its stores.
Target wants buyers thinking of a bright – and dark – Christmas.
The merchant is changing its stores to accommodate holiday shopping by creating a peppermint-striped path through a “fantastical jungle” to achieve this.
Peppermint swirl-patterned trip products range from linens and cloths to AirPod situations for the average consumer. They may experience locations like the Merry Cherry Chalet, a showroom display of potential product selections including sweaters, and Candy Cane Corner, which is stocked with a variety of holiday treats from Target company Favorite Day as they make their way through the keep. There will be mint ribbons in the ceiling and peppermint signage on aisle endcaps.
Along with the snowy snow-capped tree imagery, there’s also a new holiday symbol, Berry the Bear. A 9-foot-tall Berry may joy nine businesses across the U. S., and customers can get cute products, underwear, pillows and other products.
The Target software will also house Berry the Bear and his jungle home, which is themed for the holidays. ” No matter where you are, if you’re on your application, if you’re sitting in the stores, you’re going to be truly immersed into this magical forest”, Target’s executive vice president and chief visitor experience official Cara Sylvester told YSL News.
Target will launch its Television and online marketing campaign with a new business as many stores are now transformed and all are scheduled to complete within the next week.
A boy named Nico, the hero of the place, travels to a beautiful Target store with a true Berry the Bear, a jungle of trees, and a gigantic mint sprinkle slide after meeting the boy mascot Bullseye. The action plays out to the tune” Pure Imagination”, which appeared in the 1971 movie,” Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory”, sung by British singer-songwriter Sarah Faith Griffiths, who goes by Griff ( she opened some dates on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour ).
” It’s beautiful, whimsical and it’s meant to set the stage for the moments and the magic of Target”, Sylvester said.
Target tries to provide a holiday shopping experience.
This may be Target’s biggest endeavor at creating an in-store experience, but it’s not the first. The retailer also transformed its 2, 000 stores into “mini-vacation” destinations ahead of Memorial Day.
Target will also have special in-store events in some cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York and Phoenix.
- Nov. 9: A Holiday Wishes event, in select stores, you can build your gift list.
- Nov. 23-24: A” Wicked” event, timed to the release of the movie, out Nov. 27, with giveaways, treats and free nail art as a gift with purchase.
- Nov. 29: A Black Friday celebration with in-store gift wrapping.
- Dec. 7: Cookie decorating and other home activities.
- Dec. 21-22: Last-minute Glam Gifts event with L’Oréal Paris and Essie nail polish.
During the in-store holiday events hosted on Nov. 9, Nov. 29, Dec. 7 and Dec. 21-22, members of the free Target Circle loyalty program will get a free Berry the Bear collectible, while supplies last.
The National Retail Federation predicts that consumer spending this holiday season will be higher than it will be in 2023 by 2.5 % to 3.5 %.

A 9-foot version of Berry the Bear will appear in nine of Target’s stores. In these stores, expect a line of people posing for selfies with Berry:

Early Black Friday is celebrated at Target.

Next week, Target kicks off a new three-day Early Black Friday Sale, running Nov. 7-9 ( Thursday to Saturday ), with” thousands of hot new deals, many up to 50 % off”, the company announced Wednesday.
Also, starting Sunday, Nov. 3, Target begins weekly deals set to run through the holiday season. The first week of deals ( Nov. 3-Nov. 9 ) includes up to 50 % off floorcare and headphones, plus up to 30 % off baby gear and select home decor, and buy one, get one 50 % off toys including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
