Tori Spelling’s manager seeks ’60 Minutes’ probe following ‘DWTS’ exit

Tori Spelling was voted off “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday, prompting her manager to call for an investigation into her elimination.

On the Wednesday episode of Spelling’s “Misspelling” podcast, her manager, Ruthanne Secunda, expressed that the elimination was an “outrage.”

Secunda stated, “I find this shocking,” adding humorously that she plans to contact ’60 Minutes’ for an investigation and suspects there was a “system glitch.”

Continuing her thoughts, Secunda remarked, “If airlines can be grounded over a glitch, why couldn’t there be one affecting Tori’s votes? I’m definitely skeptical.”

Spelling, aged 51, who danced alongside professional partner Pasha Pashkov, was eliminated during the “DWTS” episode, alongside fashion influencer Anna Delvey and rookie dancer Ezra Sosa.

Secunda expressed her frustration, stating that she felt “a bit bitter” and that the competition wasn’t fair. While she acknowledged the talents of the Olympians and athletes on “DWTS,” she pointed out that they are accustomed to performing in front of large audiences. This season features athletes like two-time Super Bowl champion Dwight Howard, NBA icon Stephen Nedoroscik, and Olympic rugby bronze medalist Ilona Maher.

The “True Tori” star whimsically suggested the possibility of a “ballroom recount,” akin to political vote tallies.

“Honestly, I didn’t anticipate being eliminated,” Spelling said during the podcast. “I’m a realist; I entered this with no dance background, so I never expected to take home the Mirror Ball trophy.”

During her final performance on “DWTS,” which aired on Awards night, Spelling shared that her five children were in attendance as she danced to “This is Me” from “The Greatest Showman.” Her participation on the show came about six months after her split from actor Dean McDermott in March.

The couple shares five children: Liam Aaron, Stella Doreen, Hattie Margaret, Finn Davey, and Beau Dean. Spelling filed for divorce from McDermott after 17 years of marriage in Los Angeles. Last year, he confirmed their separation.
