Over 140,000 Toyota and Lexus Cars Recalled: Find Out If Yours Is Affected
Toyota has announced a recall of more than 140,000 of its vehicles, including those from the Lexus brand, in a press release issued on Thursday.
The recall encompasses specific models of Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles, as well as the Toyota Camry and Lexus RX.
There are multiple issues prompting the recall; for instance, the Tacoma models might have compromised rear brake hoses caused by an accumulation of mud and dirt within the rear wheels.
The Camry and Lexus RX models might have defects with the second-row center seatbelts that could have occurred during the manufacturing process. Toyota plans to inform customers affected by both recalls by early April 2025.
The replacements for these recalls will be provided at no cost to the vehicle owners.
You can use the NHTSA’s database to check for recalls associated with your vehicle identification number (VIN).
