Travis Kelce is stepping into the world of game shows.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end will be back on television as the host of Amazon Prime Video’s newest game show titled “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”
In this new 20-episode season launching on Wednesday, contestants will challenge celebrities from TV, music, sports, and internet fame for a cash prize of $100,000.
This series is a fresh take on the original “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?” which started back in 2007 with Jeff Foxworthy as the host. In that version, adult players faced off on questions based on elementary school topics for a chance to win big money. There was a brief revival of the show in 2019 hosted by John Cena on Nickelodeon.
In this format, players will attempt to answer 11 questions based on school subjects. If they get stuck, they can take a peek at the celebrity’s answer for help.

The first three episodes of “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity” will be available on Wednesday, Oct. 16. After the launch, a new episode will be released every Wednesday.
