United Airlines to Restart Flights to Tel Aviv in March
Starting March 15, United Airlines will recommence flights between Newark and Tel Aviv, and will introduce a second flight on this route beginning March 29.
According to the airline’s statement, this decision was made following a thorough evaluation of operational factors in the region, alongside collaborative efforts with the unions representing their pilots and flight attendants.
Though tensions in the Middle East have eased somewhat after a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was announced in mid-January, the overall situation remains unstable.
Delta Air Lines has also revealed plans to resume its service from New York to Tel Aviv on April 1.
As for American Airlines, there has been no announcement regarding its return to Tel Aviv.
“American Airlines regularly reviews its network, but currently, we do not have any updates on Tel Aviv services. Travelers looking to go to Israel can book flights through our partner airlines that operate to Tel Aviv at aa.com,” stated Andrea Koos, an American Airlines representative, to YSL News.
